Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu focuses on leverage and technique to subdue bigger larger opponents. The Martial Art focuses primarily on throws/takedowns to joint locks, strangles, and chokes to render an attacker unconscious. There is also a large focus on ground fighting to achieve this goal.
This martial art is a great compliment to Wing Chun because it deals well with close quarter attacks like bear hugs, chokes, and head locks.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are led by 3rd Degree Black Belt Mark Phillips.
There are 3 training themes focused on Self Defence, Competitive BJJ, and Submission Wrestling.
A typical class consists of a brief fitness workout to warm up, followed by Self Defence, Bjj Techniques, Situational and Live Sparring.
We will be happy to lend you a Kimono for your first lesson. Please wear jogging bottoms or shorts, and a t-shirt. However, if you wish to continue, you will need a White or Blue Kimono (Bjj Gi).
Getting Started is Easy
Simply choose between our Starter, Accelerator or Ultimate packages.
Our Starter package offers one Core skills class a week, while our Accelerator option lets you attend multiple classes every week.
For the quickest and most effective way to learn and improve, we highly recommend our Ultimate package which gives you unlimited access to a range of martial arts and fitness classes.
