ORIGIN BJJ TEAM N22 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following statement has been prepared to inform our customers of the terms and conditions of membership to Avalon MMA, Origin BJJ Team N22, and/or the London Wing Chun Academy. Throughout this document, any reference to “The Academy”, “we” or “us” refers to these organisations.

PRINCIPLE TERMS

1. This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance in the Declaration section of this website sign up process for The Academy.
2. When joining The Academy, you can select the date you wish your membership to start. If you wish to cancel your membership before your chosen start date, you may do so and we will refund your first monthly fee.
3. Your membership to The Academy starts on the date specified during the registration period, and continues monthly until you wish to cancel your monthly membership. You must give 30 days notice of your wish to cancel.
4. Online (remote) purchases are eligible for a 14-day cooling off period. If you select an earlier start date or use the facilities during this 14-day cooling off period, you are agreeing to waive these cooling off rights.
5. If you are due to be billed during the 30-day notice period, we will pro-rata that bill to account for any membership time up to the end of the 30-day notice period.
6. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the type of membership chosen.
7. You may pause your membership for a 30-day period, once per year, for any reason by giving 7 days notice via ClubLink or via email to info@londonbjj.com.
8. Additional 30-day membership pauses may incur a £35 admin fee.
9. You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else.

FEES AND CHARGES

10. The Enrolment Fee/Initial Payment is due from (you to us) on booking and/or commencing training at The Academy.
11. Subsequent bills are on a fixed monthly billing cycle, with the bill being payable on the same day each month (or the next closest working day in the case of public holidays). Note that all payments in the form of deposits, course, and tuition fees are not refundable in any circumstances. It is your responsibility to arrive for the training course or class booked. The fee will not be refunded for missed classes or courses.
12. If you are on a standing order, the payment is due from you to us, with the first one being paid after your first trial or induction course, or on the 1st day of the month and then every month thereafter. Your membership will be extended by one month each payment. Each payment made is not refundable under any circumstances.
13. If any payment is returned unpaid or any cheque is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you shall pay us on demand an administration fee of £35.
14. You agree to advise us immediately of any change to the Member details provided.

GENERAL TERMS

15. You agree to comply with the Rules of Membership which are displayed prominently in The Academy, relating to opening hours, use of facilities and your conduct. We may make reasonable changes to these Rules at any time provided we give you advance notice of the change.
16. If we take no action or let you off any breach of this agreement or give you extra time to pay or comply, it will not stop us enforcing the terms of this agreement strictly at a future date.
17. We may assign the benefit of this agreement and our rights there under to a third party on notice to you. Your rights under this agreement will not be prejudiced.
18. This agreement is governed by English Law.
19. We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect on notice to you if you are in breach of the Rules of The Academy
20. Your membership will be cancelled immediately (if/ when) you cancel your Standing Order Mandate or miss a monthly membership payment (made in any form). If you continue to pay your membership to The Academy then this will be considered by us as your intention to remain a member of the academy. Therefore, we can not accept responsibility if payment is made and you have not attended. Under these circumstances tuition fees are non refundable.
21. On accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to pay The Academy a monthly membership for services and facilities provided, until you  deem that you no longer require a membership to The Academy.
22. To remain an active member of The Academy you will be required to pay in consecutive monthly payments in order to keep your place in the academy.
23. In cases in which members have missed a monthly payment, The Academy reserves the right to levy a £35 re joining/administration fee.
